3 Ways to Manage Your Energy - and Be on Multiple Social Media Platforms.

Even with self-care practices, we're bound to feel stress and overwhelm at some point. To help us operate from a clear mind and high energy, try these three things!

1️⃣ - Start your “workday” with a needle moving task.

>> This gets your energy flowing and helps to build the momentum you need to continue with your important tasks throughout the day. It also keeps you out of the inbox and on social media rabbit hole!

>>Check that big thing off your checklist at the beginning of the day, so you won’t have it creeping in the back of your mind as the day progresses.

2️⃣ - Know how to manage your energy in a way that works best for you.

>>Our energy fluctuates, so strategically plan your tasks at the peaks and breaks at the lows of your energy level to help you maintain staying in flow throughout the day.

>>Put those low energy tasks like folding laundry, making a grocery list, responding to emails and checking social media in the places of the day where you know your energy levels will be lower. As for emails, you can check them for at least 10 mins just so you know which ones you have to attend to first but then close the tab so you're not constantly opening it when new notifications come up. Have designated email and social media time!

>>Continuing to check those things off your to-do list will keep your momentum rolling to get back into doing your higher energy tasks as the day goes on.

3️⃣ - Observe your thoughts and be self-aware of your energy level.

>>Especially during this time when most of us are at home all day, and maybe sharing this space with other people, our energy levels can conflict...

>> Identify what you need, communicate it and prioritize finding a way to make that happen.

By making your energy management one of your TOP personal priorities, you can get more things checked off your list without the burn-out.

➡️ You know what else is going to burn you out?

Trying to be on different social media platforms all at once. Since almost everyone is on some form of social media platform, us entrepreneurs may feel the pressure to be on EVERY one of them.

My advice is to take at least a quarter to master and focus on ONE primary social media platform that you and your clients are inspired by the most. With this, you can LEVEL UP your audience, your customers and your business by learning how to optimize using that specific platform.

Once you’ve done that, you can then move on to the next platform and do the same. THEN evaluate all of the platforms you’re on and decide which one/s to double down on because when you try to master them all at the same time, you won’t be consistent in all of them and this can just result in you being burnt out.

ALSO, learn to cross-distribute content. When we make content for Instagram, and share it on Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin etc., we are still building a presence on those platforms even if those are not our focus at the time, it can at least help us create a baseline without added effort.

BUT, always remember that the most important thing that you should master first and foremost is YOURSELF. Because when you show up authentically, you're able to transfer the ability/skill to shine on ALL/ANY of the different platforms. ✨
